PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support device capable of supporting drive at a suitable timing by reflecting a state of a driver.SOLUTION: A drive support device for supporting drive by a driver in a self vehicle 10 includes a calculation unit for calculating a time margin representing time allowance of the self vehicle 10 for avoiding collision to a preceding vehicle 2 by manual operation of a driver assuming that the preceding vehicle 2 ahead of the self vehicle 10 applies the brake, and a selection unit for selecting content of drive support according to the time margin. The calculation unit is associated with individual difference among drivers in manual operation, and associated with a preset reaction time and difference in an individual representing difference in a state within the same driver, and calculates time allowance based on a reaction delay time that varies with time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】運転者の状態を反映することで、適切なタイミングで運転を支援することが可能な運転支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】自車両１０において運転者による運転を支援する運転支援装置は、自車両１０に対して先行する先行車両２が制動する前提の下、自車両１０が運転者の手動操作により先行車両２への衝突を回避するための時間的余裕を表す余裕時間を算出する算出部と、当該余裕時間に応じて運転支援内容を選択する選択部と、を備える。算出部は、手動操作における運転者間の個人差と関連付けられ、予め設定された反応時間、及び、同じ運転者内での状態差を示す個人内差と関連付けられ、時間によって変化する反応遅れ時間に基づいて、余裕時間を算出する。【選択図】図３
