Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving device for monitoring an optical fiber ribbon, a method of monitoring an optical fiber ribbon, and a method of monitoring an optical line that enable operation conditions of ONUs connected to coated optical fibers downstream of a splitter and a MAC address of the ONUs to be collectively checked in a short time using an optical fiber ribbon upstream of the splitter.SOLUTION: In a light receiving device 301 for monitoring an optical fiber ribbon, a condensing lens 17 is disposed on each tip end of probe fibers 20 of a lateral optical input/output device (namely, the light receiving device), and the condensing lenses 17 each condense leakage light leaked from each core wire of an optical fiber ribbon 100 on the tip end of the respective probe fibers 20 and the leakage light coupled to any one of the probe fibers 20 is also selected and monitored.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】スプリッタ下部の光ファイバ心線に接続されたONUの動作状態および前記ONUのMACアドレスを、スプリッタ上部の光ファイバテープにて短時間で一括して確認し得る光ファイバテープ心線モニタ用受光装置、光ファイバテープ心線モニタ方法、及び光回線モニタ方法を提供する。【解決手段】光ファイバテープ心線モニタ用受光装置301は、側方光入出力装置のプローブファイバ20の先端それぞれに集光レンズ17を配置し、光ファイバテープ100の各心線から漏洩する漏洩光を集光レンズ17でそれぞれのプローブファイバ20の先端に集光するとともに、任意のプローブファイバ20に結合された漏洩光を選択してモニタする。【選択図】図2
