Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED illumination device capable of emitting light to two directions with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An LED illumination device 1 mainly includes a frame body 3 and an LED light source 19 and the like. The frame body 3 is formed in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape including a bottom face, a top face 5, four side faces 9a, 9b, 9c, and 9d surrounding the outer periphery between the bottom face and the top face 5. The frame body 3 is formed by a reflection plate made of a micro foaming resin. The top face 5 is formed by a top face shielding part 13 and a plurality of top face opening parts 11 for light extraction that are mutually separate. A light source is arranged on one side face 9a formed right-angled to the bottom face. The other side face 9b facing the side face 9a arranged with the LED light source and formed right-angled to the bottom face is formed with a plurality of side face opening parts 15. The side face 9b is formed by the side face opening part 15 and a side face shielding part 17. The frame body 3 is entirely shielded by the reflection plate except for the top face 5 and the top face opening part 11 formed on the side face 9b and the side face opening part 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】簡易な構造で二方向に光を照射することが可能なLED照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】LED照明装置1は、主に、枠体3、LED光源19等からなる。枠体3は、底面、天面5、底面と天面5との外周を囲む4方の側面9a、9b、9c、9dよりなる略直方体形状である。枠体3は、マイクロ発泡樹脂製の反射板で形成される。天面5は、天面遮蔽部13と、相互に離間した光取出し用の複数の天面開口部11とで形成される。底面に対して直角に形成された一方の側面9aには、LED光源が配置される。LED光源が配置される側面9aと対向し、底面に対して直角に形成される他方の側面9bには、複数の側面開口部15が形成される。側面9bは、側面開口部15と、側面遮蔽部17とで形成される。枠体3は、天面5と側面9bに形成された天面開口部11および側面開口部15以外が全て反射板で遮蔽される。【選択図】図2
