Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device that is configured to turn a sector around a shaft line of a sector shaft by converting turning of a steering shaft to rectilinear motion using a spiral engagement mechanism, which allows correspondence of a turning angle of the sector shaft to a turning angle of the steering shaft to be variably controlled and allows the sector shaft to be turned without the turning of the steering shaft.SOLUTION: A rack member which engages with teeth of a sector is a cylindrical body which is carried turnably by a nut of a spiral engagement mechanism and turns the sector around a shaft line of a sector shaft using spiral teeth. The rack member is turned and driven around the shaft line while being allowed to move in a direction of the shaft line within a predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ステアリングシャフトの回動を螺旋の噛合い機構により直線運動に変換してセクタをセクタシャフトの軸線周りに回動させる操舵装置に於いて、ステアリングシャフトの回動角に対するセクタシャフトの回動角の対応を可変に制御できるようにすると共に、ステアリングシャフトの回動によらずともセクタシャフトを回動させることができるようにする。【解決手段】セクタの歯と噛み合うラック部材は螺旋の噛合い機構のナットにより回動可能に担持され螺旋歯によりセクタをセクタシャフトの軸線周りに回動させる円筒体であり、ラック部材は所定範囲内の軸線方向移動を許されつつ軸線周りに回動駆動される。【選択図】図1 |
