PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological state recognition device capable of recognizing a state of a biological activity such as a body condition of a person who operates each kind of a device.SOLUTION: The biological state recognition device estimates and notifies of a body condition of an operator, based on input speed of characters which are input by the operator from a character input part of a terminal unit, so that, even when the operator does not realize a change of his/her body condition, the biological state recognition device can notify the operator of a proper caution. Therefore the biological state recognition device is effective for health management of the operator, and improves safety when the operator operates each kind of a device (for example, a motor vehicle).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】各種の装置を操作する人の体調などの生体活動の状態を認識できる生体状態認識装置を提供する。【解決手段】端末装置の文字入力部から操作者によって入力される文字の入力速度に基づいて、操作者の体調を推定して報知するので、操作者が自身の体調の変化に気づかない場合でも操作者に適切な警告等の報知を行うことができる。よって、操作者の健康管理に有効であるとともに、操作者が各種の装置（例えば自動車）を操作する場合でも、その安全性が向上するという効果がある。【選択図】図３
