Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smokeproof hanging wall improving good appearance by dispensing with a closing member closing a gap in a plane direction between adjacent panels and to provide a smokeproof hanging wall panel used for constructing the smokeproof hanging wall.SOLUTION: A smokeproof hanging wall 10 includes at least three panels. Each panel includes a plate glass 16 being laterally long and transparent or translucent. The plate glasses 16, 16 are arranged continuously in a lateral direction while forming overlapping margins 18 sequentially with right/left sides overlapped with each other.
