Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a continuously variable transmission capable of reducing engagement shock due to abrupt engagement even when a clutch to be engaged is abruptly engaged in start of a vehicle.SOLUTION: When shift operation is performed to engage a clutch, from before engagement of the clutch, oil pressure supplied to a primary pulley and/or oil pressure supplied to a secondary pulley are controlled to more reduce torque transmitted to the clutch than input torque input to an input shaft 41 (steps S3, S7). In this state, the clutch is engaged by supply of oil pressure (steps S4, S8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】車両の発進時に係合されるクラッチが急係合されても、その急係合による係合ショックを小さく抑えることができる、無段変速機の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】シフト操作がなされて、クラッチが係合される際には、クラッチの係合前から、プライマリプーリに供給される油圧および/またはセカンダリプーリに供給される油圧が制御されて、クラッチに伝達されるトルクがインプット軸41に入力される入力トルクよりも低減される(ステップS3,S7)。この状態において、クラッチが油圧の供給により係合される(ステップS4,S8)。【選択図】図3
