PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation auxiliary tool for gas cock that is installed at an operation knob for opening or closing a gas flow passage so as to improve operation characteristic of opening or closing work for the gas cock and providing its easy installation*removal against the operation knob.SOLUTION: This invention is fitted to a lower released cylindrical part 31 rotatably fitted from outside to an upper released cylindrical part of a plug storing part of a gas cock and an operation knob 3 having a substantial rectangular-shaped protrusion 33 protruded on its upper surface 32. It is formed with a first engaging hole 1a having a larger outer diameter than that of the cylindrical part 31 and its inner part is formed with a first engaging hole 1a into which the protrusion 33 of the operation knob 3 can be inserted under engaged state, a lower released second engaging hole 1b continuous to its lower portion and an abutment surface part 1c to which either a top surface 33a of the protrusion 33 or upper surface 32 of the cylindrical part 31 is abutted, a second engaging hole 1b is provided with a pressure-welding part where it is press welded to an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 31 under a state in which a top surface 33a of the protrusion 33 or the upper surface 32 of the cylindrical part is abutted against the abutment surface part 1c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ガス流路を開閉操作する操作つまみに装着させて、ガス栓の開閉作業の操作性を向上させ、操作つまみへの装着・取り外しが容易なガス栓用操作補助具を提供する。【解決手段】ガス栓のせん収容部の上方開放筒部に回動可能に外嵌される下方開放の円筒部３１と、その上面３２に突設する略矩形状の突起部３３を有する操作つまみ３に被嵌され、円筒部３１の外径よりも大きな外径を有し、内部には、操作つまみ３の突起部３３が係合状態に挿入可能な第１係合孔１ａと、その下方に連続し且つ下方開放の第２係合孔１ｂと、突起部３３の頂面３３ａ又は上面３２が当接する当接面部１ｃとが形成され、第２係合孔１ｂには、突起部３３の頂面３３ａ又は円筒部３１の上面３２が当接面部１ｃに当接した状態で円筒部３１の外周面に圧接する圧接部が設けられている。【選択図】図３
