PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body opening/closing device capable of easily solving the problem of fixation of a lock mechanism.SOLUTION: An opening/closing body opening/closing device 100 comprises: a rear part 1 having an opening part 1a; a back door 3 placing the opening part 1a in an open state or closed state; an actuator 5 opening and closing the back door 3; a latch mechanism 7 having a striker 9 provided at the rear part 1, a latch 11 provided to the back door 3 and engaging the striker 9, and a latch driving part 15 engaging and disengaging the striker 9 and latch 11 with and from each other; and a control part 19 which controls engaging operation and disengaging operation by the latch driving part 15.
