Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a surface protective film for a transparent conductive film by which: an adhesive layer maintains its surface smoothness; a surface protective film has excellent handleability even when laminated on a transparent conductive film; a defect failure of appearance due to a surface protective film is improved in a manufacturing/processing step of a transparent conductive film; and productivity is improved in a manufacturing step of a transparent electrode for a touch panel.SOLUTION: The surface protective film for a transparent conductive film is produced by applying an adhesive composition including a (meth)acrylic polymer, a crosslinking agent and a crosslinking catalyst to one surface of a base material film 1 and drying the same to form an adhesive layer 2 and then accelerating the crosslinking of the adhesive layer within 15 minutes from the initiation of drying of the adhesive layer so that the storage elastic modulus (a) at a temperature of 30°C of the adhesive layer after aging the adhesive layer at a temperature of 40°C for 5 days is 4.0×10Pa or more; and the storage elastic modulus (b) at a temperature of 30°C of the adhesive layer after 15 minutes from the initiation of drying of the adhesive layer and the storage elastic modulus (a) satisfies the relationship of 0.9≤a/b≤1.3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】粘着剤層が表面の平滑性を維持し、透明導電性フィルムに貼り合わせても優れたハンドリング性を有し、透明導電性フィルムの製造・加工工程において、表面保護フィルムに起因する外観の欠点不良が改善され、かつ、タッチパネル用透明電極製造工程での生産性が良好な、透明導電性フィルム用表面保護フィルムの製造方法の提供。【解決手段】基材フィルム1の片面に、(メタ)アクリル系ポリマーと架橋剤および架橋触媒とを含む粘着剤組成物を塗布、乾燥させて、粘着剤層2を形成した後に、粘着剤層を温度40℃にて5日間に渡りエージングした後の粘着剤層の温度30℃での貯蔵弾性率(a)が4.0×105Pa以上であり、且つ、粘着剤層を乾燥開始してから15分間後の粘着剤層の温度30℃での貯蔵弾性率(b)と、前記aとが0.9≦a/b≦1.3の関係を満たすように、粘着剤層を乾燥開始してから15分間以内に粘着剤層の架橋を促進させてなる。【選択図】図1
