Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a change to a half-cut groove having a pattern which is formed by laser beam radiation, and to make decorativeness possess versatility.SOLUTION: A decoration method of a molding includes a process for forming a pattern which includes a character, a figure or a code in a half-cut groove by relative movement between the molding and laser beam radiation at a rear surface side of the molding being a decoration object. In the process for forming the pattern, since a shape of the half-cut groove is changed along a longitudinal direction at a visual level from a surface side, a radiation condition of a laser beam can be changed. The shape of the half-cut groove is changed by the change of the radiation condition of the laser beam along the longitudinal direction at a level at which the change can be confirmed by being viewed from the outside of the molding. Versatile decoration becomes possible by the change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】レーザー光照射により形成される文様のハーフカット溝に変化をつけ、これによって装飾性に多様性を持たせたる【解決手段】成形品の加飾方法であって、加飾対象となる成形品の裏面側に、当該成形品とレーザー光照射との間の相対移動によるハーフカット溝で文字、図形、又は記号を含む模様を形成する工程と、を含み、当該模様を形成する工程において、当該ハーフカット溝の形状が当該表面側から目視可能なレベルで長さ方向に沿って変化させるため、当該レーザー光の照射条件を変化させる ことを特徴とする。レーザー光の照射条件の変化によりハーフカット溝の形状が、成形品の外側から見て分かるレベルで長さ方向に沿って変化する。その変化により多様な装飾が可能となる。【選択図】 図1
