PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector with which it is possible to fill up a gap and realize a low loss even when butting faces are heavily rugged.SOLUTION: An optical connector 1 comprises a first optical fiber 21 held by a first ferrule 25 and having a first butting face 22 at the forward end and a second optical fiber 41 held by a second ferrule 45 and having a second butting face 42 at the forward end.
