PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device and a treatment method capable of promoting detoxification of harmful SOagainst a sulfur content absorptive solution, without releasing offensive odor such that human being have strong unpleasantness and capable of adjusting pH at desired level eventually.SOLUTION: A treatment device has a treatment container for conducting sea water mixing and aeration on a sulfur absorptive liquid, a sulfur absorptive solution supply pipe, a sea water supply path and a nozzle part for conducting aeration.
