Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture image generation method, picture image generation program and picture image generation device that alleviate occurrence of so-called 3D sickness in a virtual three-dimensional space.SOLUTION: A method of generating a picture image of a virtual space using a computer includes: a first procedure of causing a virtual object 100 to move in the virtual space in response to an operation of a user; and a second procedure of causing a virtual camera 110 to follow the object 100, and generating a picture image having the object 100 and the virtual space photographed by the virtual camera 110. The first procedure includes a jump procedure of causing the object 100 to move in a first direction (thereafter called as ascending) and move in a second direction opposite to the first direction (thereafter called as descending). The second procedure includes a jump following procedure of causing the virtual camera 110 to ascend following the ascending of the object 100, and causing the virtual camera to descend at a speed slower than that upon ascending of the virtual camera when the ascending of the virtual camera ends.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】仮想三次元空間中での所謂3D酔いの発生を軽減する、映像生成方法、映像生成プログラムおよび映像生成装置を提供する。【解決手段】コンピュータを用いて仮想空間の映像を生成する方法であって、ユーザの操作に応じて仮想空間内で仮想のオブジェクト100を移動させる第1手順、および、仮想カメラ110をオブジェクト100に追従させ、仮想カメラ110でオブジェクト100および仮想空間を撮影した映像を生成する第2手順、を有する。第1手順は、オブジェクト100を、第1方向へ移動(以下、「上昇」と呼ぶ)および第1方向とは逆の第2方向へ移動(以下、「下降」と言う)させるジャンプ手順を含む。第2手順は、仮想カメラ110を、オブジェクト100の上昇に追従して上昇させ、仮想カメラの上昇が終了した後に、前記仮想カメラの上昇時の速度よりもゆっくりした速度で仮想カメラを下降させるジャンプ追従手順を含む。【選択図】図2
