Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric auxiliary device and a power assisted bicycle capable of suppressing loss of an auxiliary torque which can be originally added with respect to an input torque.SOLUTION: A correction torque calculation part 51 of an MCU 50 calculates a correction torque based on an input torque outputted from an input torque detection part 42. When calculating the correction torque, in the case where the input torque is a value included in a range below a threshold value, the correction torque is set to be 0. Also, in the case where the input torque is equal to or greater than the threshold value, an addition value corresponding to at least one part of a loss amount of the reduced correction torque is added to a reference value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】入力トルクに対して本来付加することができる補助トルクの損失を抑制することができる電動補助装置及び電動補助自転車を提供する。【解決手段】MCU50の修正トルク算出部51では、入力トルク検出部42から出力された入力トルクに基づいて、修正トルクを算出する。修正トルクを算出するにあたり、入力トルクがしきい値未満の範囲に含まれる値である場合に、修正トルクを0に設定する。また、入力トルクがしきい値以上である場合に、減少させた修正トルクの欠損分の少なくとも一部に対応する加算値を基準値に加算する。【選択図】図2
