Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering support apparatus and a steering support method, which enable smooth execution of a steering operation in a lane change into an adjacent lane.SOLUTION: A steering support apparatus includes a lane change control part 11 for outputting, in a case where a vehicle performs a lane change from a presently traveling lane X1 to an adjacent lane X2, at least one of a steering command and an acceleration-deceleration command for a vehicle V1 so that cut-in steering time T1 necessary for the vehicle to enter the adjacent lane from the start of a cut-in steering toward the adjacent lane is shorter than return-steering time T2 necessary for the vehicle to be in parallel with the adjacent lane from the start of the return-steering after entering the adjacent lane. Since the cut-in steering time is short, a following vehicle recognizes at an early point of time that there is an intention of the lane change, and thus, the lane change can be performed smoothly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】隣接車線に車線変更する際のステアリングの操作を円滑に実行することが可能な操舵支援装置及び操舵支援方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両が現在走行している車線X1から隣接車線X2へ車線変更する場合に、隣接車線側への切込操舵を開始してから隣接車線に進入するまでに要する切込操舵時間T1が、隣接車線へ進入後の戻し操舵を開始してから車両が隣接車線に平行になるまでに要する戻し操舵時間T2よりも短くなるように、車両V1の操舵指令或いは加減速指令の少なくとも一方を出力する車線変更制御部11を備える。切込操舵時間が短いので、車線変更の意思が有ることを後続車両に対して早い時点で認識させることができ、円滑な車線変更が可能となる。【選択図】 図1 |
