Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base conditioning sand blast device set of a transmission tower which can be easily transported, and is light in weight and small in size, and a base conditioning method using the same.SOLUTION: This sand blast device set for, for example, the base conditioning of an iron tower includes: a small-sized compressor whose rated output is within a range of 1.4 to 4.0 kW; and a small-sized high pressure sand blast machine comprising an injection nozzle part having injection holes whose port diameters at tips are within 1 to 3 mm.
