PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that can prevent, with a simple configuration, a toner dropped from a toner receiving member from accumulating on the tip of a regulation blade, and an image forming apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: A developing device comprises: a developing roller; toner supply roller; regulation blade; casing; toner reception support member; toner receiving member; and vibration generation means. The toner receiving member is partitioned into a toner receiving surface that is bent in a mountain shape in cross-sectional view by a bending part parallel to the longitudinal direction, faces the developing roller, and inclined downward toward the toner supply roller, and a toner dropping surface facing the toner supply roller.
