PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a gear transmission device that allows smooth transmission while stabilizing a posture of a face gear.SOLUTION: The gear transmission device includes: a pinion gear; and the face gear G1 having a tooth part 2 at an outer periphery of a first face 1a of a disc part 1 and engaging with the pinion gear. A projection 20 is formed at a second face 1b of the disc part 1 where the tooth part 2 is not formed.
