Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the temperature of an outer ring of a bearing stored in an axle box of a carriage for a railway vehicle, and prevent damage to a temperature sensor.SOLUTION: An axle box device with a temperature sensor unit of a carriage for a railway vehicle includes: an axle box in which a bearing for supporting an axle is stored; a temperature sensor unit attached to the axle box for detecting the temperature of an outer ring of the bearing; and an elastic body for energizing the temperature sensor unit in a direction that the temperature sensor unit presses the outer ring.
