Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biopsy device capable of capturing plural tissue samples by inserting a needle into a breast of a patient only once, in which the tissue samples are accumulated in a tissue sample holder at air pressure and then can be collected from the tissue sample holder for analysis.SOLUTION: A biopsy device comprises: (a) a needle which comprises (i) a tip end part assembly which contains (A) a nose cone having a distal portion and a proximal portion, (B) and a blade containing a pair of contracting arm sections having a free end part, the blade fixed to the nose cone, the free end part having a protrusion part directed to inside, the protrusion part engaged to the proximal portion of the nose cone, and (ii) a first lumen; and (b) a cutter which is movable to the needle for cutting the tissue sample.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】針を患者の乳房に１回挿入しただけで、複数の組織標本を捕捉することができ、組織標本は、組織標本ホルダーの中に空気圧で堆積され、後で、分析のために組織標本ホルダーから回収されることができる生検装置の提供。【解決手段】生検装置において、（ａ）針であって、（ｉ）先端部組立体であって、（Ａ）遠位部分および近位部分を有するノーズコーン、（Ｂ）ノーズコーンに固定されたブレードでは自由端部を有する、一対の収斂するアームセクションを含み、自由端部は、内側に向けられた突出部を含み、内側に向けられた突出部は、ノーズコーンの近位部分に係合し、これにより、ブレードをノーズコーンに固定するように構成される、ブレード、を含む、先端部組立体、ならびに、（ｉｉ）第１の内腔、を含む、針と、（ｂ）組織標本を切断するために針に対して動くことができるカッターと、を含む。【選択図】なし
