Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress image processing hardware from increasing with the number of imaging elements in an imaging device having a plurality of imaging elements, thereby simplifying data handling and also improving reliability of the imaging device.SOLUTION: An imaging device having a plurality of imaging elements 11 and 12 comprises: a plurality of page memories 210 and 220 corresponding to the plurality of imaging elements, in which image data output from the plurality of imaging elements are stored, respectively; page memory readout means 230 for reading out the image data stored in the plurality of page memories separately in time; single image processing means 250 for applying prescribed image processing to the image data corresponding to the plurality of imaging elements which were read out separately in time from the plurality of page memories; and write monitoring means 240 for monitoring writing of the image data of the plurality of imaging elements to the plurality of page memories, thereby controlling the start of page memory readout by the page memory readout means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
