PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure fuel supply pump that is inhibited in concentration of stress at a welded region in a welded component to increase reliability.SOLUTION: The high-pressure fuel supply pump includes a functional component inserted into a hole that is formed in a pump body, where the outer periphery of the functional part and an inner periphery of the hole are fixed by welding at the outer peripheral surface thereof and a space is formed on a side opposite to the outer peripheral surface relative to the welded region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】溶接部品の溶接部の応力集中を抑制し、信頼性の向上を図った高圧燃料ポンプを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明の高圧燃料供給ポンプは、ポンプボディに形成される穴部に挿入される機能部品を備え、外周面において前記機能部品の外周部と前記穴部の内周部とが溶接により固定され、溶接された部位に対して前記外周面と反対側に空間が形成されることを特徴とするものである。【選択図】図５
