PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit rotation of a head of an occupant after the head contacts with an airbag.SOLUTION: An occupant protection device 2 for a vehicle includes: an airbag 51 which is provided at a vehicle body and deployed around an occupant so that at least a head of the occupant in the vehicle body contacts therewith; and a pressing member 61 which is provided at the vehicle body and may be operated toward a deployment area of the airbag 51.
