Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water droplets from a water-retaining material from hitting a condenser of an outdoor unit, and to improve cooling efficiency in the condenser by preventing scattering of water droplets from the water-retaining material and by shortening a distance between the water-retaining material and the outdoor unit.SOLUTION: A water-retaining material 30 is disposed being close to the windward side of a condenser 3 of an outdoor unit 1 installed outdoors, and by the water-retaining material 30, by being wetted by the water dripped from above, the temperature of the air sucked by the latent heat when vaporizing is lowered. The condenser 3 is cooled by the air whose temperature is lowered, and the water flowing down from the water-retaining material 30 is restored by a water recovery device 13. The water in the water recovery device 13 is circulated to the water-retaining material 30 via a water supply pipe 15 by driving a pump 14. Then, a louvre 40 for receiving water droplets from the water-retaining material 30 is arranged being close to the leeward side surface of the water-retaining material 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】保水材からの水の飛沫が室外機の凝縮器に当たらないようにすること。また、保水材からの水の飛沫の飛散を防止して、保水材と室外機との間の距離を短くして、凝縮器での冷却効率を向上させること。【解決手段】屋外に設置される室外機1の凝縮器3の風上側に近接して保水材30を配設し、保水材30により、上方より滴下される水により湿潤されて、気化する際の潜熱にて吸気された空気の温度を低下させる。この温度が低下した空気により凝縮器3を冷却させ、保水材30から流下した水を水回収装置13にて回収する。水回収装置13の水をポンプ14を駆動して給水管15を介して保水材30へ循環させる。そして、保水材30からの水の飛沫を受けるルーバー40を、保水材30の風下側の面に近接して配置する。【選択図】図1
