Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit failures caused by vibrations of a control device (a CPU substrate) in an operation part when a roll gap is measured by using a roll gap measuring apparatus installed at a dummy bar.SOLUTION: A roll gap measuring apparatus of the invention includes: a roll gap measuring sensor; an operation part 23 in which a control device (a CPU substrate) 23a for calculating a roll gap from an output signal of the roll gap measuring sensor and storing the calculated roll gap is installed; and a power source which supplies electric power to the control device. The roll gap measuring apparatus is attached to a dummy bar. The operation part 23 comprises: an outer case 26; an inner case 27 which is stored in the outer case; and the control device (the CPU substrate) 23a. The control device (the CUP substrate) is fixed to the inner case, and a vibration control material for inhibiting vibrations of the control device (the CPU substrate) is disposed between the outer case and the inner case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
