Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnet apparatus which maintains excitation speed and furthermore can reduce a temperature rise thereof due to energization of a superconducting coil, and to provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: The superconducting magnet apparatus comprises: a spool 40 having a winding core 21, a first flange part 22 provided at one end of the winding core 21, and a second flange part 23 provided at the other end of the winding core 21; a superconducting wire 24 wound around the winding core 21; a refrigerator 46 for cooling the superconducting wire 24; a heat transfer member 27 (for example, oxygen-free copper, pure aluminum, or the like) for thermally connecting between the first flange part 22 or the second flange part 23 and the refrigerator 46; and an electrical insulation member 28 (for example, aluminum nitride, silicone carbide, or the like) for insulating between the flange parts 22, 23 and the refrigerator 46 that are thermally connected to the heat transfer member 27.
