PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heating efficiency of a heater from deteriorating due to the attachment of a fouling component when the fouling component adheres to an outside surface of the heater with the use, in a washing machine which has achieved improvement of washing performance by washing with hot warm water.SOLUTION: In a washing machine which includes a water tub 8, and a heater 23 provided below the water tub 8 and configured to heat the water stored in the water tub 8, a hydrophilic performance film 35 which functions as an antifouling function part is provided at an external pipe of the heater 23, a heater cover 24, a heater holder 25 and an external pipe of a temperature sensor 26. With this constitution, a fouling component hardly adheres to the outside surface of the heater 23, and deterioration of heating efficiency of the heater 23 due to the fouling can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】温水で洗濯することで洗浄性能の向上を図った洗濯機について、使用に伴いヒータの外面に汚れ成分が付着し、その汚れ成分の付着が原因でヒータの加熱効率の低下することを抑制する。【解決手段】水槽８と、この水槽８内の下部に設けられ水槽８内に貯留された水を加熱するヒータ２３とを備えた洗濯機において、ヒータ２３の外部管、およびヒータカバー２４、ヒータホルダ２５、温度センサ２６の外部管に防汚機能部として機能する親水性能膜３５を設けた構成とすることで、ヒータ２３の外面に汚れ成分が付着し難くできて、汚れを要因としたヒータ２３の加熱効率の低下を抑制することができる。【選択図】図４
