PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a communication terminal unit capable of switching a first communication path via the base station of a mobile communication network, and a second communication path via the relay device of a wireless LAN appropriately according to the communication quality of the first communication path, for each communication area of the base station, without increasing the load on the communication terminal unit.SOLUTION: For each of multiple communication areas communicable on a first communication path, the communication quality data of the first communication path is acquired, and priority route information for specifying a communication path, used preferentially in the communication terminal unit, out of the first communication path and second communication path, is set based on the communication quality data of the first communication path. The communication quality data of the first communication path each of the multiple communication areas and the priority route information are stored. When the information, capable of identifying the communication area where the communication terminal unit is located, is received from the communication terminal unit, the priority route information corresponding to that communication area is transmitted to the communication terminal unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】通信端末装置の負荷を増大させることなく、基地局の通信エリアごとに、移動体通信網の基地局を介した第１通信経路と無線ＬＡＮの中継装置を介した第２通信経路とを、第１通信経路の通信経路の通信品質に応じて適切に切り替えることができるシステム及び通信端末装置を提供する。【解決手段】第１通信経路で通信可能な複数の通信エリアそれぞれについて、第１通信経路の通信品質のデータを取得し、第１通信経路の通信品質のデータに基づいて第１通信経路及び第２通信経路のうち通信端末装置で優先的に使用する通信経路を指定する優先経路情報を設定する。これら複数の通信エリアそれぞれの第１通信経路の通信品質のデータと優先経路情報とを記憶し、通信端末装置が在圏する通信エリアを識別可能な情報を通信端末装置から受信したとき、その通信エリアに対応する優先経路情報を通信端末装置に送信する。【選択図】図３
