Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve arc attenuation effects in a conduction cutoff device which cuts a part to be cut at two places.SOLUTION: A conduction cutoff device C comprises: a conductor including a part 22 to be cut in a long plate shape in a portion; an arc extinguishing chamber 32 including a pair of stationary blades 37; a gas generator; and a cutting member 50 including a pair of movable blades 57 for cutting the part 22 to be cut cooperatively with the stationary blades 37. In the part 22 to be cut, a separation piece 23 which is separated by cutting at two places and a main body part 24 which remains without being separated, are formed. An arc generated between cut ends 23a and 23b of the separation piece 23 and cut ends 24a and 24b of the main body part 24 is attenuated by the arc extinguishing chamber 32. A deformation mechanism 60 is provided for deforming the separation piece 23 pushed into the arc extinguishing chamber 32 by the cutting member 50 in such a manner that both the cut ends 23a and 23b are positioned forwards in a direction of movement of the cutting member 50 rather than at least places neighboring to the cut ends 23a and 23b between both the cut ends 23a and 23b in the separation piece 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】被切断部を2箇所で切断する導通遮断装置におけるアーク減衰効果を高める。【解決手段】導通遮断装置Cは、一部に長尺板状の被切断部22を有する導電体と、一対の固定刃37を有する消弧室32と、ガス発生器と、上記固定刃37と協働して被切断部22を切断する一対の可動刃57を有する切断部材50とを備える。上記被切断部22には、2箇所での切断により分離した分離片23と、分離されず残った本体部24とが形成される。分離片23の切断端23a,23bと本体部24の切断端24a,24bとの間で生ずるアークが消弧室32で減衰される。切断部材50により消弧室32内に押し込まれた分離片23を、その両切断端23a,23bが、同分離片23における両切断端23a,23b間のうち、少なくとも同切断端23a,23bに隣接する箇所よりも切断部材50の移動方向前方に位置するように変形させる変形機構60が設けられている。【選択図】図6
