PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation protector which can be installed along an installation form of an overhead distribution line.SOLUTION: An insulation protector 1 comprises an insulative protector body which is formed cylindrical so as to cover the periphery of an overhead distribution line and of which the intermediate part formed between a distal end portion 30 formed in a distal end in an axial direction and a proximal end portion 31 formed in a proximal end is bellows-shaped. In the protector body, a housing port 33 for housing the overhead distribution line therein is formed by notching a part of the protector body in a radial direction. The distal end portion and the proximal end portion of the protector body include clip housing parts 36 for housing holding pieces of a clip. Mutually opposing faces of the housing port include flanges 35 that are formed while protruding radially outsides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】架空配電線の設置形態に沿って設置できる絶縁防具を提供する。【解決手段】絶縁防具１は、架空配電線の周囲を覆うように筒状に形成されると共に、軸方向の先端に形成された先端部３０と、基端に形成された基端部３１と、の間に形成された中間部が蛇腹状に形成された絶縁性の防具本体を備えて構成されている。防具本体は、内部に架空配電線を収容するための収容口３３が径方向の一部を切欠いて形成されている。防具本体の先端部及び基端部は、クリップの挟持片を収容するクリップ収容部３６を有している。収容口の互いに対峙する面は、径方向の外側に向かって突出して形成された鍔部３５を有する。【選択図】図１
