PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of reducing discomfort which a user feels when reception of an illumination pattern is interrupted.SOLUTION: A luminaire 20 includes a light modulation unit 24 that modulates light from a light source 22 by using a frame received by a reception unit 21, an irradiation unit 25 for irradiation modulated light, and a controller 26. The controller 26 periodically performs storage control which is storage control performed for a predetermined period, and stores a received frame in a storage unit 27 each time a frame is received by the reception unit 21.
