Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active element capable of suppressing positional deviation of a partition wall from an electrode, and a manufacturing method for active element.SOLUTION: An active element has a base material 2, first electrode 5 and second electrode 6 formed adjacently on one principal surface of the base material 2, an organic semiconductor layer 9 formed on one principal surface of the base material 2, so as to cover at least the region between the first electrode 5 and second electrode 6, and a partition wall 12 formed in a region on one principal surface of the base material 2, on the outside of the organic semiconductor layer 9 in the plane direction, and different from the region where the first electrode 5 and second electrode 6 are formed.
