Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating rotator capable of preventing abnormality heating at crack generation by detecting temperature even in a rotation stop state, and a fixing device using the same.SOLUTION: The heating rotator includes: a cylindrical base layer; a plurality of resistive heating elements with a volume resistivity smaller than that of the base layer provided in a spiral shape on the base layer so that some of the resistive heating elements are in the temperature detection area; a conductive layer having a volume resistivity smaller than that of the base layer and provided in the circumferential direction at both end portions in the longitudinal direction of the base layer so as to be electrically connected to the plurality of resistance heating elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
