Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support apparatus of a vehicle, capable of achieving stable steering support control by properly setting a target course on which a driver's own vehicle has to travel.SOLUTION: A steering control part 20 estimates running paths of recognized front vehicles, and registers the front vehicle, in which a vehicle-width-direction error |ΔE1| of the running path with respect to a reference point set for a driver's own vehicle is smallest and in which the error |ΔE1| is a set threshold ΔE1 th or below, of the front vehicles as a preceding vehicle. 【課題】自車両が走行すべき目標コースを適切に設定して安定した操舵支援制御を実現することができる車両の運転支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】操舵制御部20は、認識した前方車両の走行軌跡を推定し、前方車両のうち、自車両に設定された基準点に対する走行軌跡の車幅方向の誤差|ΔE1|が最も小さく且つ当該誤差|ΔE1|が設定閾値ΔE1th以下の前方車両を先行車として登録し、この先行車の軌跡に基づいて自車両が走行すべき目標コースを設定可能とする。【選択図】図7 |
