PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage composition for weight gain inhibition, containing as the principal ingredient, medium-chain fatty acid triglyceride for increasing a ketone body concentration in blood, giving a small burden to the gastrointestine, and realistically ingestible as part of a daily dietary life.SOLUTION: A beverage composition for weight gain inhibition contains as the active ingredients, fatty acid triglyceride, an emulsifier, and carbohydrate. In the beverage composition for weight gain inhibition, the fatty acid triglyceride contains medium-chain fatty acid triglyceride as the principal ingredient, and C8 medium-chain fatty acids and C10 medium-chain fatty acids contained as the medium-chain fatty acids constituting the medium chain fatty acid triglyceride are such that the C8 medium-chain fatty acids are mixed at 60 mass% or more, and the C10 medium-chain fatty acids are mixed at 40 mass% or less, to the total medium-chain fatty acids, and the content of the medium-chain fatty acid triglyceride is 5.0-11.0 g per 100 kcal of energy in the beverage composition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 血中のケトン体濃度を増加させる中鎖脂肪酸トリグリセリドを主成分として含み、胃腸への負担が少なく、かつ、日常の食生活の一部として現実的に摂取可能な体重増加抑制用飲料組成物を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】 脂肪酸トリグリセリドと乳化剤と炭水化物を有効成分として含む体重増加抑制用飲料組成物であって、前記脂肪酸トリグリセリドは、中鎖脂肪酸トリグリセリドを主成分として含み、前記中鎖脂肪酸トリグリセリドを構成する中鎖脂肪酸として含まれる炭素数８の中鎖脂肪酸と炭素数１０の中鎖脂肪酸は、合計中鎖脂肪酸に対し、前記炭素数８の中鎖脂肪酸が６０質量％以上で配合され、前記炭素数１０の中鎖脂肪酸が４０質量％以下で配合され、前記脂肪酸トリグリセリドの含有量は、前記飲料組成物のエネルギー１００ｋｃａｌあたり５．０〜１１．０ｇであるように構成される、体重増加抑制用飲料組成物を提供する。【選択図】 図１
