Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in the amount of power generation accompanying update of a software program.SOLUTION: A distributed power supply that has a power generation device and is operated in linkage with a power system includes a power control device comprising a power supply switching unit, an information acquisition unit, and an update unit. The power supply switching unit switches the power control device's power source to either of the power generation device and the power system. The information acquisition unit acquires update information for the power control device's software program. The update unit executes updating of the software program by using the update information. The power supply switching unit switches the power supply source to the power system before a first period in which power generated by the power generation device cannot be equal to or larger than operation power of the power control device.
