Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image sensor that can be applied in a CMOS image sensor, the solid-state image sensor being designed to reduce the number of wires controlling reading of the respective signals of pixels for each unit pixel area in predetermined order, and to provide an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: Unit pixel areas 71-1 to 71-4 are composed of a plurality of pixels 70 arranged in arrays. A reading circuit is provided for each unit pixel area, and reads the pixel signals of the pixels composing the unit pixel area. A pixel drive line for controlling the reading of pixels that are the same in reading order, is shared, the pixels composing the unit pixel areas adjacent in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】単位画素領域ごとに各画素の画素信号を所定の順番で読み出す場合に、読み出しを制御する配線の本数を削減する、CMOSイメージセンサに適用できる固体撮像素子及び電子機器を提供する。
