Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of an outboard motor capable of improving cooling efficiency.SOLUTION: A cooling structure of an outboard motor is equipped with a flywheel 41 which is attached to a shaft end of a crank shaft 22, and integrally rotates with the crank shaft 22; a cooling fan 44 which integrally rotates with the fly wheel 41; a recoil reel 51 which rotates the crank shaft 22 through the fly wheel 41 according to start operation; and a recoil case 60 which covers the recoil reel 51 and the cooling fan 44. The recoil reel 51 has a hub portion 52, a spoke portion 56, and a rim portion 54. The spoke portion 56 is formed with a communication hole 57 through which air passes from the recoil case 60 side toward the cooling fan 44 side.
