Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tool for allowing a bit holder to continue slow rotation even while jetting compressed air.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tool 1 includes a flow passage switching member 84 mounted in a tool housing 30 so as to cross an air supply passage 35. The flow passage switching member 84 has first and second flow passages 86 and 87. The second flow passage 87 has a limit flow passage section 88 narrower than the first flow passage 86 and an open flow passage section 89 opened to the atmosphere. When the flow passage switching member 84 is located at a normal drive position. the first flow passage 86 is communicated with the air supply passage 35 and compressed air flows toward an air motor 20 through the first flow passage 86. When the flow passage switching member 84 is located at an air injection position, the second flow passage 87 is communicated with the air supply passage 35, a part of the compressed air supplied from an air supply port 34 is jetted in the atmosphere from the open flow passage section 89, the remaining compressed air flows toward the air motor 20 through the limit flow passage section 88, and the air motor 20 is driven to slowly rotate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】圧縮空気を噴射している最中にもビットホルダがゆっくりと回転をし続けるようにした空気式工具を提供すること。【解決手段】当該空気式工具1は、工具ハウジング30に空気供給路35を横断するように取り付けられた流路切替部材84を備える。流路切替部材84は、第1及び第2流路86、87を有し、第2流路87が、第1流路86よりも狭い制限流路部88、及び大気に開放された開放流路部89を有する。流路切替部材84を通常駆動位置とすると、第1流路86が空気供給路35に連通されて、圧縮空気が第1流路86を通ってエアモータ20に向かって流れる。流路切替部材84を空気噴射位置とすると、第2流路87が空気供給路35に連通され、空気供給口34から供給された圧縮空気の一部が開放流路部89から大気中に噴射され、残りの圧縮空気が制限流路部88を通ってエアモータ20に向かって流れてエアモータ20をゆっくりと回転駆動する。【選択図】図8
