PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine information management system using a portable terminal capable of saving effort associated with management of an appended document on medicine, and promptly and easily obtaining appended document information on which up-to-date content is described.SOLUTION: A two-dimensional code 21 such as a QR code into which at least communication information and medicine retrieval information toward a manager side server 1 are written is described on medicine 2, a medicine package 23 or a base sheet contained in the medicine package in connection with the medicine retrieval information. The system uses the portable terminal which reads the two-dimensional code 21 by means of a reader 31 provided in a portable terminal 3 and connects to the manager side server 1 via Web communication 4, extracts appended document information 13 matching the medicine retrieval information in a medicine information database 12 of the manager side server 1, and transmits it to the portable terminal 3 to display on a display screen 32 of the portable terminal 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】薬剤の添付文書の管理に伴う手間を省き、迅速且つ容易に最新の内容を記載した添付文書情報を入手できる、携帯端末を用いた薬剤情報管理システムを提供する。【解決手段】少なくとも管理者側サーバ１への通信情報および薬剤検索情報を書き込んだ例えばＱＲコードのような二次元コード２１が前記薬剤検索情報に係る薬剤２、薬剤の包装２３または薬剤の包装に収容される台紙に記載されており、前記二次元コード２１を携帯端末３に備えた読み取り装置３１により読み取り管理者側サーバ１とウェブ通信４を介して接続し、前記管理者側サーバ１の薬剤情報データベース１２の内で前記薬剤検索情報に合致する添付文書情報１３を抽出し、前記携帯端末３に送信して前記携帯端末３の表示画面３２に表示させる携帯端末を用いた。【選択図】図１
