Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement capable of reducing power consumption when detecting hand positions.SOLUTION: A movement comprises: a second wheel 33 which drives a minute hand; a fourth wheel 43 which is arranged on the same axis as a central shaft of the second wheel 33, and drives a second hand; a first light-emitting element 61 arranged on one side in an axial direction of a central shaft with respect to the second wheel 33 and the fourth wheel 43; and a first light-receiving element 64 which is provided on the other side in the axial direction of the central shaft by sandwiching the fourth wheel 43, and detects light from the first light-emitting element 61. The second wheel 33 includes a first second wheel transmission part 35 which can transmit light from the first light-emitting element 61, and a second second wheel transmission part 36 which is provided on a rotation trajectory of the first second wheel transmission part 35, and can transmit light from the first light-emitting element 61. The fourth wheel 43 includes a first fourth wheel transmission part 45 which is provided on the rotation trajectories of the first second wheel transmission part 35 and the second second wheel transmission part 36 as viewed from the axial direction of the central shaft, and can transmit light from the first light-emitting element 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
