Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control cable capable of reducing a minimum flexural radius without substantially damaging a buckling strength [flexural rigidity] and at the same time capable of making its light weight formation.SOLUTION: An outer peripheral surface of a liner 5 is provided with a plurality of grooves 5A and each of strands 7 is wound around an outer peripheral surface of the liner 5 under a state in which each of the strands is fitted into each of the grooves 5A. With this arrangement as above, the plurality of strands 7 are held at the liner 5, i.e. the plurality of strands 7 and the liner 5 are mechanically connected to each other. Accordingly, even if the number of the strands 7 is reduced to such a degree as one in which the adjoining strands 7 are spaced apart, it is possible to restrict that a buckling strength [flexural rigidity] of a control cable 1 is substantially reduced. That is, it becomes possible to reduce the minimum flexural radius while restricting that the buckling strength [flexural rigidity] of the control cable 1 is substantially decreased and to make its light weight formation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 座屈強度(曲げ剛性)を大きく損なうことなく、最小曲げ半径を小さくするとともに、軽量化を図ることが可能なコントロールケーブルを提供する。
