Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide crystalline polyester and a resin composition which can obtain excellent low-temperature fixability when used for a toner and the like; a resin composition which can solve poor granulation that may be concerned when applied to resin particles obtained by water medium heterogeneous polymerization, and broadening of particle size distribution caused by the poor granulation, and a method for producing resin particles.SOLUTION: Crystalline polyester has (1) an endothermic peak measured by a differential scanning calorimetry, and has a half band width of the endothermic peak of 10°C or less; and has (2) a chain transfer group.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】 トナーなどに用いた場合に、優れた低温定着性を得ることができる、結晶性ポリエステル、および樹脂組成物を提供する。また、水媒体不均一系重合によって得られる樹脂粒子に適用する際に懸念される造粒不良、及び、造粒不良にともなう粒径分布のブロード化を解決することができる樹脂組成物、および樹脂粒子の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 (1)示差走査熱量分析により測定される吸熱ピークを有し、前記吸熱ピークの半値幅が10℃以下であり、(2)連鎖移動基を有する、ことを特徴とする結晶性ポリエステル。【選択図】 なし
