PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body with an airbag device which prevents occurrence of abnormal noise, enables a bag body to smoothly expand, and stably holds the bag body.SOLUTION: In a vehicle body 10 with an airbag device, a side curtain airbag 20 is provided at a roof side rail 12. The side curtain airbag 20 includes: a bag body 51 disposed along the roof side rail 12; a central protector 59 which holds the bag body 51; and an inflator 52 which supplies a gas to the bag body 51. The center protector 59 has a contact end part 65 which faces a reinforcing member 48 while forming a gap L2 therebetween. The contact end part 65 is moved to the reinforcing member 48 by an expanding force of the bag body 51, and the contact end part 65 is supported by the reinforcing member 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】異音の発生を防止し、また、袋体を円滑に展開させることができ、さらに、袋体を安定的に保持できるエアバッグ装置付き車体を提供する。【解決手段】エアバッグ装置付き車体１０は、ルーフサイドレール１２にサイドカーテンエアバッグ２０が設けられる。サイドカーテンエアバッグ２０は、ルーフサイドレール１２に沿って配置される袋体５１と、袋体５１を保持する中央プロテクタ５９と、袋体５１にガスを供給するインフレータ５２とを備える。中央プロテクタ５９は、補強部材４８に空隙Ｌ２をおいて対向する当接端部６５を有する。袋体５１の展開力で当接端部６５が補強部材４８側に移動し、補強部材４８により当接端部６５が支持される。【選択図】図２
