Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolator replacement method for making it possible to replace a seismic isolator by jacking up a beam even when a space for installing a jack device cannot be secured under an intersection of a skeleton.SOLUTION: A seismic isolator replacement method, in replacing an existing seismic isolator 10x provided between an intersection 5 provided at a position at which a pillar 4a and beam 4b of a skeleton 4 of a building intersect and a support part 2 positioned under the intersection 5 with a new seismic isolator by jacking up the existing seismic isolator using a jack device 20, previously fits reinforcement members 32, 33 having strength resisting a shearing force and/or a bending moment to be generated at the time of jack-up by the jack device 20, to the beam 4b; installs the jack device 20 under the beam 4b's part positioned in the vicinity of the intersection 5 to jack up the intersection 5; and replaces the existing seismic isolator 10x with the new seismic isolator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】躯体の交差部の下方にジャッキ装置を設置するスペースが確保できない場合であっても、梁をジャッキアップすることによって免震装置の交換を可能とする免震装置の交換方法を提供する。【解決手段】建築物の躯体4のうち柱4aと梁4bとが交差する位置に設けられる交差部5と、この交差部5の下方に位置する支持部2と、の間に設けられた既存免震装置10xを、ジャッキ装置20でジャッキアップして新規免震装置に交換するに際し、梁4bに対して、ジャッキ装置20によるジャッキアップ時に発生する剪断力および/または曲げモーメントに抵抗する強度を有する補強部材32,33を予め取り付けておき、梁4bのうち交差部5近傍に位置する箇所の下方にジャッキ装置20を設置して交差部5をジャッキアップし、既存免震装置10xを新規免震装置に交換する。【選択図】図3
