SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a heald 10 which comprises a heald body 11 at least partially comprising multiple layers. The heald body comprises at least one reinforced region 15 comprising multiple foil layers 16. At least one foil inner layer 16a preferably extends in a longitudinal direction L along the entire heald body. The at least one foil inner layer is reinforced by at least one, preferably two foil outer layers 16b particularly in a region around an eye 12 of the heald body and/or in a region around an end part eyelet 13, and thereby the reinforced region is formed.
