Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat slide device which can suppress concentration of stress at the time when inputting a separation load and secure high reliability.SOLUTION: A seat slide device 10 comprises: an upper rail 6 that supports upward a seat; a lower rail 5 that supports the upper rail 6 to be relatively movable along a longitudinal direction thereof; and a lock mechanism that can regulate a relative movement of the upper rail 6 to the lower rail 5. The upper rail 6 comprises a pair of side wall parts 15 opposing to each other in a width direction and an upper wall part 16 that connects both side wall parts 15. Further, the upper wall part 16 is provided with a plurality of seat fixing parts 20 which are used for fixture of the seat to the upper rail 6. In each side wall part 15 between a rear end part 6b of the upper rail 6 and a seat fixing part 20b closest to the rear end part 6b is formed a cleave hole part 40 that cleaves each side wall part 15 and the upper wall part 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】剥離荷重入力時の応力集中を抑えて高い信頼性を確保することのできる車両用シートスライド装置を提供すること。【解決手段】シートスライド装置10は、上方にシートを支持するアッパレール6と、その長手方向に沿って相対移動可能にアッパレール6を支持するロアレール5と、このロアレール5に対するアッパレール6の相対移動を規制可能なロック機構と、を備える。また、アッパレール6は、幅方向に対向する一対の側壁部15と、これらの両側壁部15間を接続する上壁部16と、を備える。更に、この上壁部16には、そのアッパレール6に対するシートの固定に用いられる複数のシート固定部20が設けられる。そして、そのアッパレール6の後端部6bと当該後端部6bに最も近いシート固定部20bとの間の各側壁部15には、当該各側壁部15及び上壁部16を切り欠く孔部40が形成される。【選択図】図8
