Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To so set the number of spherical bearings which are used as to be two.SOLUTION: A four degree-of-freedom mechanism comprises: a three degree-of-freedom planar surface closed link mechanism 11 in which a movable surface 112 is movable at three degree-of-freedom in a planar surface with respect to a stationery surface 111; an actuator 12 which is attached to the stationery surface 111 and directly acts in a direction perpendicular to the planar surface; a spherical bearing 13a of which one end is connected to an output shaft of the actuator 12; a spherical bearing 13b of which one end is connected to the other end of the spherical bearing 13a; and an output surface 14 which moves in linkage with the movable surface 112 in a face parallel to the movable surface 112, and is directly or indirectly connected to the other end of the spherical bearing 13b with the movable surface 112 interposed therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
