Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting processing method of a seamless steel pipe capable of improving production efficiency, while restraining cutting resistance and agglutination in screw cutting processing time.SOLUTION: A cutting processing method of a seamless steel pipe by the present embodiment comprises a process of preparing a base material and a process of cutting processing. In the process of preparing the base material, the base material having a structure of including Cr:16.0-18.0% in mass% and including a ferrite phase, a martensite phase and a residual austenite phase is prepared. In the process of cutting processing, the base material is cut-processed by using a cutting tool. Assuming the contact area (mm) between the cutting tool and the base material as S, in the case of 0.2≤S≤2.0 mm, a cutting speed is set to 150-350 m/min, and in the case of 2.0<S≤4.0 mm, the cutting speed is set to 150-300 m/min, and in the case of 4.0<S≤6.0 mm, the cutting speed is set to 150-200 m/min.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】ねじ切削加工時の切削抵抗及び凝着を抑制しつつ、生産効率を改善できる継目無鋼管の切削加工方法を提供する。【解決手段】本実施形態による継目無鋼管の切削加工方法は、基材を準備する工程と、切削加工する工程とを備える。基材を準備する工程では、質量%で、Cr:16.0〜18.0%を含有し、フェライト相、マルテンサイト相及び残留オーステナイト相を含む組織を有する基材を準備する。切削加工する工程では、切削工具を用いて基材を切削加工する。切削工具と基材との接触面積(mm2)をSとした時に、0.2≦S≦2.0mm2の場合、切削速度を150〜350m/分、2.0<S≦4.0mm2の場合、切削速度を150〜300m/分、及び、4.0<S≦6.0mm2の場合、切削速度を150〜200m/分とする。【選択図】図4
